Management & Operational Accountant

Immediately available Chartered Accountants CA(SA) only - Large Multinational is urgently looking to fill a Management/Operational Accountant role within their team (EE/AA) * This is a 6 month fixed term contract position with a possibility of going permanent

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a leading concern with operations across South Africa, Africa and the Middle East. They are recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team for a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential of going permanent. This role requires the successful incumbent to have sufficient experience with the full Profit & Loss function within a business unit or group function and not only for a specific cost centre.

This role will be responsible for the following:

• Consolidated Management Reports
• Budget Plan, Submission and Query Assistance
• Reallocation Journals
• Variance Analysis
• Actual vs Budgets (Over or Under Spend)
• Support Debtors and Creditors and Inventory for Working Capital Management
• Monthly Bank Recons
• Progress Reports
• Support Fixed Asset Register
• Tax & VAT
• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reports

Qualification & Experience: Non-Negotiable

• Qualified CA(SA) with a minimum of 3 years'' post articles experience within the commercial sector
• Only incumbents from a large, multinational or listed entity will be considered due to the nature of this role
• Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and SAP experience
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines
• Experience within the Information Technology, Services, Telecommunications, Retail, FMCG or similar industries advantageous
