SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic group where your technical expertise and commercial acumen will directly support strategic decision-making.

This role is based in Menlyn, Pretoria East.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily bank postings across multiple currencies (EUR, USD, and GBP) and prepare daily cash reports for the CEO and CFO
Ensure that group bank accounts are adequately funded to meet financial obligations
Perform regular bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations, resolving discrepancies efficiently
Prepare, review, and release payment runs and expense claims, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
Perform monthly foreign currency revaluations for debtors, creditors, and bank balances
Prepare and distribute monthly exchange rate schedules to the business
Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Liaise with the Payroll and Credit Control teams post-payroll to validate figures against budgets and forecasts
Prepare combined margin reports and the related reconciliations
Calculate commissions and bonus targets
Reconcile IDS, including receivable bank accounts on HSBC against aged debtors on Sage
Prepare, submit, and process VAT returns and payments via HMRC
Compile cost reports for Directors and support informed decision-making
Prepare monthly and quarterly Board packs for senior management and Directors
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Compile and analyse audit support schedules for year-end and statutory audits
Prepare PSA and P11D reconciliations and submissions to HMRC
Oversee and mentor a finance intern, providing structured training and development

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom degree in Accounting.
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
