SUMMARY:
Multi-national manufacturing concern based on the East Rand is looking for an experienced and CIMA qualified candidate to join their finance team. The role would suit a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate that pays attention to detail.

POSITION INFO:

The role will be to oversee accounts, with an internal focus on preparing financial analysis to aid business decision making to maximise profit and ensure the sustainability of the organisation.

Provide effective financial reporting and financial controls while aligning to strategic company goals

Bachelors Degree and CIMA qualification

Min. 3 - 5 years experience in budgets and management reporting and 2 years experience in managing payroll (VIP)

Other systems used: JD Edwards and ERS, Advanced MS Excel

Responsibilities would include:

Responsible for entire costing function to ensure completeness and integrity of all costs in the system, including new costings and annual standard cost updates

Ensure overall integrity and operation of the local ERP system

Ensure period closing is done in an effective manner, including month end, quarter end and year end

Conduct reconciliations of the Production Variances, related and all other accounts

Raise related accruals and provisions at period end

Accurate reporting of amortisation of variances

Complete and submit all relevant schedules required

Ensure systems balance with actual results

Actively involved in annual profit plan including calculations and submissions

Monthly submission of revised Forecast and financial forecast

Prepare Monthly expense review files

Prepare and submit monthly CAPEX report

Capitalize projects once completed

Overall management of all additions/retirement of assets

Review and release of payments, both local and foreign payments

Review and release weekly wages/monthly salaries of VIP payroll

Ensure compliance to relevant Labour laws and substantive agreements within payroll

Ensure overall integrity and effective operation of the local Payroll software and Time & Attendance system
