SUMMARY:
One of the countryÃ¢Â€Â™s leading specialist risk financiersÃ¢Â€Â™ is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. The Management Accountant will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end operational results reports.

Minimum Requirements:

BCom Accounting or BCom Finance degree is essential

• Professional accreditation will be advantageous- preferably CIMA

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position

• Strong skills in Excel

• Previous use and good knowledge of SAP & SAP BW, SAP BI reporting tools is required

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Able to adapt and learn quickly

• Good planning and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and is results driven

Key Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Management Accountant’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Preparation of weekly and monthly Property operational reports
Preparation of monthly management reports
Monthly collections, bad debts, and arrear reports
Quarterly reports for Audit committee and Board of Directors
Quarterly evaluation and assessment of property valuations
Calculation and reporting of the monthly Preferential Procurement for BBBEE scorecard
Monthly calculation and reporting of the Group’s Measures of Performance
Prepare key stats and charts for the annual integrated report
Be involved in and take initiative in the improvement of the current reporting templates. Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as and when the need arises.
