One of the largest publishers and printers of books, magazines and newspapers is looking for a Management Accountant with tax exposure to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Management Accountant will be responsible for monthly tax control, provisional tax and tax calculations. The Management Accountant will be responsible for annual financial statements, annual insurance declarations and charge-outs as well as ad-hoc support. The successful candidate will be responsible for forex evaluations, loan impairments, IFRS disclosures and segment reporting.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)
BCom Accounting
Completed SAICA articles

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 5-8 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Experience with tax administration and tax calculations
Experience with monthly tax control
Confident and assertive
