SUMMARY:
A local manufacturer of valves, has a unique and diversified portfolio of products catering for the mineral processing, power generation, water and affluent markets and have a strong strategic approach towards active participation in global markets. Our Client is in search for a Management Accountant in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

The incumbent will be responsible to undertake timely and accurate accounting function for the Business Unit and ensure all accounting controls, policies, practices, and procedures are enforced.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Degree - B Com/ Cost Management / Management Accounting is essential

• CA (SA) or CIMA preferable EXPERIENCE

• 3 or more years’ related work experience

• Complex manufacturing experience

• Various Costing model understanding

Experience

• Has a good working knowledge of a fully integrated financial accounting package –ERP system • Has a good working knowledge of internal control systems

• Previous experience in Management accountant role, working with numbers/ mathematical concepts

• Computer literate with advanced excel skills

• Has a good exposure to tools and techniques for accounting, management accounting principles and reporting • Demonstrates sound technical costing skills

• Has the ability to work to achieve deadlines, and adapt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business

• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to work under pressure

• Ability to communicate and build relationships with people at different levels

• Has the capacity for understanding and interpret by using financial, marketplace, consumer, and economic information
