SUMMARY:
Our client, a global bank and listed financial institution with a reputation of being set apart from the rest, continues to invest in a culture that empowers individuals to flourish. They are seeking to appoint a high performing MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT for their asset finance division, who is not only a competent accountant but can tell a story with numbers.

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities include:

General accounting and reporting to financial statement level.
Income, expense and activity processing, data preparation and analysis.
Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Daily accounting processing and reconciliations and VAT returns
Prepare, analyse and present business unit level income statement
Detailed understanding and analysis of Margins; Other income; Impairments; Expenses; Balance Sheet

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required:

BCom Accounting
Working towards CIMA or similar
4+ years experience in asset finance in a high functioning accounting role
Excellent ability to interpret financial statements
Proven ability to build relationships with business partners and team
Excellent communication skills as a financial expert in the unit

This role will suit a confident Management Accountant, who is highly competent, enjoys interacting with people in an entrepreneurial environment, and understanding the commercial environment they are accountable for.

This role is based in Gauteng with a hybrid working model currently in operation.
