JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:

This dealer in various Ferro Alloys and virgin metals based in the Pretoria region is urgently looking for a phenomenal candidate to fill their recently vacated Management Accountant role for a 3 month period. In addition to providing financial insight and executing operations the suitable candidate will be required to sporadically conduct site visits in the Northern Cape.

This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, applicable laws, codes and regulations amongst other things.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

Legal and non-legal controlling, governance, assurance and internal control effectiveness and efficiency
Performing extensive analysis of the business performance
Compiling information and preparing reports in support of management decision-making
Controlling, budgeting, cost controlling and business partnering with respective function
Supporting in reporting and closing processes
Monthly and quarterly closing activities

As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.

The requirements:

Qualification:

BCom Finance Degree (non-negotiable)
CIMA qualification (preferable)

Experience:

5+ years accounting experience
Knowledge accepted accounting practices and principles
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft package and an ERP system

Skills Required:

Excellent analytical and communication skills
Excellent collaborative skills
Ownership and accountability
