SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning and directing human resources and other administrative staff functions in support of company objectives. Specific responsibilities include all aspects of human resource management, including compensation and benefits, training and development and long-range planning

Grow & maintain eminence of company through internal & external stakeholder engagement
Reduce legal risk to minimize the financial and reputational impact on company by complying to all record management processes and procedures, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements
To ensure the quality, availability and reliability of company resources to meet current and future demand
To provide required assurances at Executive Committee level

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Minimum: B-degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology,

Industrial relations or related field (NQF level 7)

Ideal: A postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial

Psychology, Industrial relations is highly desirable (NQF level 8 / 9)

Experience

At least 10 years’ experience in a General Human Resource Management position of which at least 4 years should have been in a management role, operating at a strategic level in human resources management. Experience in human resources management policy development and implementation, developing a human resources management infrastructure and advising executive management and boards on industrial relations matters and working with a bargaining council.
