Description

Manage and report market risk exposures, relative to a predetermined risk appetite, across the Equity Derivatives and Cash Equities desks
Interaction with the trading team(s) and other related business support functions will be necessary
Manage and ensure compliance with market risk policies and procedures as it relates to the Equity Derivatives and Cash Equities desks
Assist in preparation for FRTB regulations
Assist in management of the CFD book
Calculate and Report on Market Risk Regulatory Capital
Identify Market Risk and manage system enhancements
Pricing and distribution management of our vanilla structured products that predominately track the FTSE/JSE Top40 Index and other sector based trackers
Formulate and maintain strong relationships with our internal distribution channel SBFC (Standard Bank Financial Consultants) and our external IFA’s
Includes training of brokers and product specific assistance
Manage end to end operation of the business, which includes signoff on legal and marketing aspects of the business
Stakeholder Relations Experience
Internal stakeholder relations – successfully managed relations with counterparties within organisations
External stakeholder relations – experience in managing client relationships
Engaged with individuals at an executive level in the form of formal and informal communication methods
Interacted with stakeholders from the private and public sector
