POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead and deliver market risk advisory engagements for clients within the banking and financial services sector. Prepare and review technical reports relating to market risk, counterparty credit risk, interest rate risk in the banking book, and liquidity risk. Execute quantitative financial risk management projects covering foreign exchange, interest rate, credit, and commodity risk. Provide technical expertise on quantitative risk management, derivative valuation, hedge accounting, and related financial reporting frameworks. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. Relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications will be advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience within Market Risk, Financial Risk Management, Advisory, Consulting, or Project Management. Previous experience within a consulting firm, financial institution, regulatory environment, or investment banking environment is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of capital markets, trading environments, financial instruments, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements. Skills: Advanced quantitative and analytical problem-solving abilities. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Proven leadership and team management experience. Strong project management and consulting capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver high-quality solutions within fast-paced, client-focused environments.
