POSITION INFO:
A leading OEM manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Group CFO to join its executive leadership team in Silverton. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a substantial finance function, lead a growing team, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive business performance and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall financial strategy and direction of the organisation. - Drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long-term financial planning. - Partner with the executive team to support strategic business initiatives and commercial decision-making. - Lead, mentor, and develop a growing finance function consisting of eight direct reports and additional planned hires. - Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and financial risk management. - Ensure robust governance, compliance, and internal control frameworks. - Deliver meaningful financial insights to improve operational performance and profitability. - Manage stakeholder relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and executive leadership. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: - CA(SA) is highly preferred. - CIMA qualification will also be considered where supported by extensive relevant experience. Experience: - 8-10 years' experience within senior finance leadership roles. - Proven experience within OEM manufacturing is non-negotiable. - Demonstrated success leading sizeable finance teams. - Experience operating at executive and strategic level. - Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability. Skills: - Advanced financial leadership and strategic planning capabilities. - Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. - Systems experience on Syspro is essential. - Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
