Marketing Specialist

An innovative financial services organisation is seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead its brand growth and market expansion efforts. POSITION INFO:

Role Purpose

• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives contribute to both customer acquisition and long-term brand loyalty

• Shape and drive the overall marketing direction in line with business objectives
• Identify growth opportunities through market insights and competitive analysis
• Align marketing initiatives with broader organisational goals
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
• Continuously assess and optimise campaigns for performance and relevance
• Ensure messaging remains consistent and impactful across all touchpoints
• Lead digital marketing initiatives, including online campaigns and social platforms
• Strengthen brand presence through targeted content and engagement strategies
• Increase visibility through media exposure and thought leadership opportunities

• Degree in Marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role within financial services or insurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional South African languages advantageous)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing analytics tools

• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commercial awareness with the ability to align marketing to business objectives
• Proven experience in managing campaigns and projects end-to-end
• Brand management and effective communication capability
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
