An exciting opportunity has become available for a Marketing and Operations Specialist to join South Africa’s leading company in the hospitality industry. The Marketing and Operations Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of supplier relationship, achievement, and implementation of brand marketing/promotion.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Delivering effective, innovative technical marketing initiatives and identifying marketing opportunities that can be exploited
Overseeing the production of all brand creatives such as advertisements, presentations, sales sheets, social media campaigns, blogs, testimonial and ensuring they have a consistent tone and messaging
Effectively contributing and support Franchisees with day-to-day operational support aligned with the company’s standards
Ensuring any changes/enhancements within the business are communicated and implemented timeously to the company’s network
Being involved in the implementation of new business initiatives
Contributing to new business opportunities to create additional revenue streams within the Company’s Networks
Positioning company to capitalize on unique strengths in relation to competitors
Supporting special projects as and when they arise
Planning and execution of tactical marketing activities. This includes promotions, event scheduling, set ups, cost management and management thereof
Branding for events and promotions to ensure visibility of the brand
Driving promotions and event functions to ensure successful measurable campaigns through
Maintaining brand identity and be the custodian of the brand

The ideal candidate has:

Degree in marketing /relevant qualification (Essential)
5 plus years’ experience in the same or similar role.
Strong analytical and project management skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (when and if required)
Must have travel and tourism experience
