JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a fast-growing International Engineering Consulting company in the building services industry, requires the full-time services of an ECSA registered Mechanical Engineer (Pr Eng / Candidate Eng / Pr Techni Eng - Professional/Candidate Engineer or Engineering Technologist).
This company offers challenges in multi-disciplinary engineering consulting services and exciting projects in construction (energy, infrastructure, building services) for dynamic candidates with a passion for building engineering consulting services, to join their expanding team in Cape Town ASAP or early 2023.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities
HVAC, Wet Services and fire engineering - designs and installations
Building Service Consulting at Engineering Firm - HVAC, Wet Services Fire Engineering, Fire Protection and Passenger Lifts.
Prepare Tender specifications and bill of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and fee proposals
Site monitoring and contractor supervision (site installation)
Attend site meetings
Technical writing and reporting
Liaison with clients, various project stakeholders and other engineering disciplines
Desired Experience & Qualification
B Eng, BSc Eng or B Tech in Mechanical Engineering essential
MUST be ECSA registered (not negotiable)
6-7+ years post Grad. Experience in Building Service at a Consulting Engineering Firm - HVAC, Wet Services Fire Engineering
Fire Protection and Passenger Lifts experience advantageous
Good problem-solving skills with strong technical ability in Building Services
Experience in building services essential - HVAC, Fire and/or Wet Services design and/or installations
MUST have own reliable transport, prepared to travel

Package & Remuneration
Market related - negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
