Motor Vehicle Apprentice - East Rand - Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Apprentice has opened at a Motor Dealership in the East Rand of Gauteng.

Requirements:

Matric
Motor Trade Diploma or similar
Valid drivers license
Clear criminal record
Peoples person with excellent communication skills
Have a passion for motor vehicles and be a go-getter

Responsibilities:

Observing, learning and understanding the processes while under the instruction of the qualified technical staff
To proceed and undertake tasks as instructed by mentor
To observe and learn the servicing and repairing of vehicles booked into the dealership
Adhering to the procedures and policies
To learn and understand the importance of Health and Safety within the workplace
To observe and maintain all workshop equipment
Maintaining good communication with work colleagues and employers
Maintain and record a logbook throughout the apprenticeship of learnt and projects that have been undertaken
Maintain a good and clean workplace
Maintain good appearance and act in a professional manner at all times
To perform any tasks instructed
