SUMMARY:

A leading agricultural company focused on advancing crop production through innovative breeding techniques is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead and grow its FMCG sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the FMCG market, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue and market expansion.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally a B. Com.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales management or related field
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Must have experience managing distributors (Independent and Wholesale Market), key accounts, and sales teams
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
Target-driven with a strong understanding of market dynamics

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Managing and expanding distributor and retail networks.
Leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to maximize performance.
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
Ensuring effective in-market execution, visibility, and availability of products.
Preparing sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews.
