POSITION INFO:

You’ll be working with actuaries, data experts, and AI specialists to develop pricing models that outperform the usual legacy stuff most companies are still clinging to. What’s in it for you? Key Responsibilities:

Build, refine, and enhance pricing models across short-term insurance products
Analyze large insurance datasets to spot trends, patterns, and pricing opportunities
Assist in designing and running validation frameworks
Support client implementation projects and provide technical input
Keep up with industry changes and regulatory updates
Contribute to research and development as the team pushes into new techniques
Document methodologies and prep material for stakeholder or client sessions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Nearly or newly qualified actuary (ASSA)
Prior experience in short-term insurance pricing (non-negotiable)
Strong grasp of actuarial principles and statistical methods
Comfortable with traditional pricing methods like GLMs
Competent in at least one programming language (R, Python, etc.)
Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
Interest in machine learning and AI within insurance
Exposure to ML techniques, visualization tools, regulatory pricing requirements, big data tech, or cloud platforms
