POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
This well-established production-focused business is seeking an Operational Accountant to support and drive key operational decisions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, commercially minded, and eager to grow with the business in a challenging yet rewarding environment where your contributions are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage stock operations across multiple branches.
Oversee imports and exports, including forex, shipping lead times, and foreign costings.
Support operational decisions with accurate costing, stock management, and procurement insights.
Ensure stock accuracy, purchasing efficiency, and provision management.
Work closely with operations teams, contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Completed BCom with articles, CIMA qualified, or studying toward CIMA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a production-oriented or commercial environment.
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, operational exposure in stock management, costing, procurement, imports, exports, and forex.
Hands-on, driven, consistent, and passionate with a desire to grow with a long-standing family business.
Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to operational finance.
