JOB SUMMARY:
Being involved in operational duties associated with on- and off-site analysis as well as being part of a team of risk analysts who are responsible for providing expert knowledge, skills and experience in the operational risk management area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Participate in supervisory practices in relation to operational risk in regulated entities, including inspecting regulated entities’ risk appetite and management practices with respect to operational risk.
Ensure regulated entities’ compliance with regulations governing operational risk.
Develop methods to analyse and interpret risk-based regulatory data submissions.
Monitor regulatory entities’ exposure to operational risk, as reported to the PA under the various operational risk approaches.
Give input and possible participation in internal capital-adequacy assessments/own risk self-assessments (ORSA) of regulated entities in relation to operational risk.
Provide input and participate in recovery and resolution assessments of regulated entities in relation to operational risk.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or Auditing;
Five to eight years’ relevant working experience in the insurance sector.

The following would be an added advantage:

A postgraduate qualification in any of the aforementioned, FRM or PRM certification.
