Operations Manager

Location: Limpopo, South Africa Type: Permanent Salary: Negotiable

POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager in a fast-growing mining safety technology sector in Limpopo. Responsible for day-to-day operations, client delivery, and managing a specialized product portfolio. Requires technical leadership, people management skills, and mining safety technology experience.

About the Role

Proximity Detection Systems (PDS)
Collision Prevention Systems
Vehicle Interface Systems
Digital Lamproom Management
Mining Safety Data Platforms

Works closely with Mine Management, Safety Teams, Technical Personnel, and Site Operations Teams to ensure successful deployment and client satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational or technical management
Experience in mining, industrial technology, or mining safety systems

Technical Knowledge

Exposure to Collision Prevention Systems, Proximity Detection Systems, CAN-bus systems, Lamproom systems, and mining operational technology.

Regulatory Knowledge

Understanding of MHSA and DMR requirements for CPS/PDS systems advantageous.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s licence
Strong communication skills
Medically fit for mine site work
