PRODUCT DESIGN SPECIALIST – HVAC (KEMPTON PARK)

SUMMARY:
An opportunity is available for a skilled Product Design Specialist to focus on detailed 3D design, technical drawings, and product development within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a design-driven professional who can translate engineering concepts into practical, production-ready solutions while improving efficiency and reducing rework.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Design, Draughting, or similar
• Knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration advantageous
• Minimum 3 to 7 years’ experience in a product design, product engineering, or manufacturing-focused design role
• Proven experience in product design within a manufacturing, OEM, or fabrication environment
• Strong 3D CAD design capability (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor or similar), with a focus on assemblies and manufacturable designs)
• High-level understanding of structural design and sheet metal fabrication processes
  - Demonstrated experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design optimisation for production efficiency
• Proven ability to take ownership of design decisions and drive measurable improvements in production outcomes
