JOB SUMMARY:

Our client based in Parow Industria, is a highly respected employer in the agricultural industry. They have a vacancy for a PRODUCTION MANAGER from the food industry to be based at their new production facility in the West Coast area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and management of all production related activities and administration.
Organise effective daily logistics and distribution schedules.
Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the production areas including the flow of product from start to finish.
Evaluate employees through management of performance and productivity.
Ensure that good quality assurance and OHASA practices are followed
Assist in maintaining the food safety system at the factory.
Management of all waste components to an acceptable standard

REQUIREMENTS

5 Years Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment (FMCG)
Applicable qualification
Own transport and driver’s license
Must be willing to relocate to Velddrif
Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP will be beneficial
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Pastel, Outlook)
Very well organised
