Packaging Engineer

Unique opportunity to join a quality SA company as a Packaging Engineer.

The company's Global Head office in SA, with products in over 100 markets worldwide. 

The role is based in Boksburg, Gauteng.

Core involvements include:

• Running focused packaging improvement projects.
• Communicating performance between different departments to align key stakeholders. 
• Complex problem-solving champion for packaging relevant processes.
• Analysing, reporting and improving key factory measures and processes related to packaging.
• Conducting root cause analysis. 
• Conducting analytical tests on packaging components.
• Running and leading trials at suppliers.

Suited to:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science 
• 5+ years' experience in FMCG / manufacturing
• Experience within R&D / New product development / Process optimisation 
• Extensive understanding of GMP principles 
• Excellent problem-solving techniques
