An international consulting conglomerate seeks an experienced and attentive Payroll Specialist to join their team based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.

*Please note this company operates on a hybrid working model and the successful incumbent needs a solid work from home setup. This position is a FTC that can become permanent.

The purpose of this role will be to manage monthly payroll processes and be the first line of contact in relation to all payroll, benefits and employee transfer matters.

The role requires an incumbent with experience in South African and Expatriate annual reporting and pay structures.

Duties include full payroll function, tax, payroll analysis and other adhoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager.

Education:

Degree in accounting or finance non-negotiable

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 4 years' experience in a position dealing with the full payroll function from beginning to end

Expat / Foreign payroll experience non-negotiable

SAGE VIP Superuser experience is non-negotiable

Experience in processing multiple payrolls (weekly, monthly, bi-weekly and contractor)

Strong multi-national tax knowledge

Strong MS Excel skills

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
