SUMMARY:
Our client based in Illovo is looking for a Finance and Operations Manager with a hands on and detailed approach to tasks.

POSITION INFO:

Core characteristics:

Organised, ability to multi-task

An all-rounder with a record of academic and professional achievement

Dynamic, “go-getter” personality who thrives in a small business and has the ability to take the initiative; and

BCom Hons / Business Science or similar.

Core responsibilities will include, inter alia:

Finance, including:

Management accounts, cash books and accounting journals

VAT and tax

Payments processing

Group audit process

Calculating and paying rebates

Budget process

Liaise and manage the accounting processes for multiple subsidiaries (and their administrators)

Company Secretarial:

Oversee the process to set up new companies including bank accounts and VAT registration

Prepare quarterly dividends, share issue resolutions and associated calculations

Asset management back office, including:

Investor queries

Investor statements

Capturing investor data and FICA

Daily bank recons

Operations, including:

Preparing packs for monthly meetings

Minuting meetings; and

Review subsidiary management accounts.

Remuneration: R600K CTC excluding bonus
