SUMMARY:
Role Overview:
Our client, a leading South African ICT solutions provider, is looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer with expertise in Cisco AI and networking. You'll work closely with sales and clients to design tailored, scalable solutions that drive digital transformation. This role bridges sales and technical delivery in a fast-moving environment focused on cloud, data centre, networking, and security innovation.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and present AI-powered and traditional networking/security solutions based on customer needs
Partner with sales teams to develop proposals, proofs of concept (PoCs), and business cases
Engage directly with clients, from technical teams to C-level executives
Maintain deep knowledge of Cisco products, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
Assist with RFPs, bid management, and vendor coordination

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong foundation in networking, security, data centre, or AI technologies
Proven problem-solving and solution design experience
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Background in technical sales or systems engineering
3–5+ years in a related role, preferably in pre-sales or solution engineering
