SUMMARY:
A reputable and growing company in the electrical supply and distribution industry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Northriding, Randburg. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can take ownership of logistics processes and ensure the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to end customers.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage daily logistics and delivery operations.
Communicate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to maintain seamless order and delivery workflows.
Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve transportation delays or issues as they arise.
Keep accurate records of all inventory movements and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Work closely with the warehouse team to plan and support efficient stock movement and distribution.
Assist with logistics cost control, route optimisation, and monitoring supplier performance.
Ensure all logistics operations comply with company procedures and transport regulations.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

National Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a logistics coordination or supply chain role.
Prior experience within the electrical supply industry is highly advantageous.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics tracking or ERP systems.
