Our Client, based in KZN, is seeking a Procurement Executive.

This is an Executive Management Position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Relevant degree from a recognized tertiary institution. A chemistry qualification will be advantageous. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 5 years in top management. At least 3 years in a chemical manufacturing environment. 8-10 years’ experience with managing a team. Demonstrated experience in a highly pressurized environment. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE Responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and price. Plays an integral role in the senior management team determining overall strategy and business decisions. Overall responsibility and accountability for the Purchasing function which includes people and budget management
