Procurement Lead – Medical Devices

Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Midrand, South Africa

Position Overview:

An internationally recognised Healthcare Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices company requires the services of an experience Procurement Lead.

The main objective will be to manage the One Procurement function across the 3 different legal entities in South Africa that is in line with the local and global procurement strategy, build internal process excellence, supplier relationship excellence and positioning the procurement function to add value to the business. This position will be responsible for influencing the businesses to ensure optimal and innovative use of company resources that enable achieve its strategies, goals, and objectives.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed NQF 7 in Business Administration, Finance or similar
• Minimum 5 – 7 Years’ experience in Indirect Procurement Management
• Experience in managing a BBBEE scorecard, enterprise, and supplier development as per the requirements of BBBEE
• Knowledge of Procurement Management practices
• Knowledge of third-party vendors in the health care sector
• One will manage the Company’s BBBEE scorecard and Enterprise and Supplier development as per the requirements of BBBEE
• Hands on experience in establishing processes and SOPs
• Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally
