POSITION INFO:
Automotive aftermarket concern is seeking a highly experienced Product Design Engineer with the follow prerequisite. Requirements: Design, development, industrialization and implementation of aftermarket products and related sub-assemblies and components. Validation of product design by DV testing versus customer and internal engineering specifications. Education\/Experience: Degree in relevant engineering discipline Product engineering and project management role within the automotive manufacturing industry (4-6 years minimum) Ability: Strong working knowledge of design and engineering principles centered around DFM & APQP processes. Proven skills in project management, consulting and negotiation, decision making, control and follow up, organizing and planning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively summarize and present to all levels within the organization. Computer Skills: CAD CAE Project management software SAP systems
