SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Production Accountant to join our dynamic finance and operations team.

POSITION INFO:
As a Production Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Manage and maintain accurate costing systems for manufacturing processes
Perform detailed reconciliations of costs and stock, including variance analysis
Support production teams with value-driven financial reporting and insights
Conduct stock reconciliations and identify losses or inefficiencies
Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes, especially within BOM and value chain analysis
Provide financial input on project planning and business improvement initiatives
Liaise with Financial and Production Managers to ensure alignment of operational and financial objectives

What Do You Need?:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a costing or manufacturing accounting role
Relevant qualification (e.g., BCom or equivalent)
Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), industry dynamics, and value chains
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel (or other ERP/financial systems)
Highly analytical, assertive, and results-driven with the ability to meet daily deadlines
Experience in both financial and operational environments (e.g., maintenance, production)
