JOB SUMMARY:
I am on the hunt for Profitability Analyst. If you have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the Credit Risk Management or Financial Services space and have a relevant Bcom/BSc Honours degree, I would like to discuss an exciting opportunity with you at a large retail and consumer finance group in SA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose:

To Effectively develop and implement profitability models to enable competitive advantage for Financial Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design appropriate profitability models to enable FS strategy
  2. Implement, monitor and validate the effectiveness of profitability models
  3. Conduct profitability analysis and reporting
  4. Deal with customers in a customer centricity manner
  5. Effective self-management and ability to work well within a team

Key Skill Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of credit risk best practice and methodologies
  2. Knowledge of collections, credit granting and risk methodologies, processes and systems
  3. Knowledge of best practice scorecard development
  4. Relevant legislation (NCA, Debt Collection Act, CPA etc).
  5. Knowledge of TRIAD, Blaze, SAP/CRM and GUI
  6. Clear ability to think Strategically
  7. Good knowledge of Risk Management
  8. Being able to positively Influence others
  9. Information processing
  10. Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
