JOB SUMMARY:
The project manager is responsible for the delivery of programme delivery within the Corporate education department. The person oversees the delivery of project implementation for corporate clients and their participants. S/he must oversee project administrators in their administrative duties and ensure that programmes are delivered within the organisational standards and within the framework of quality assurance and measures. The oversight involves maintaining client relations and troubleshooting participant experiences. The project manager must implement project plans as developed my senior project managers, oversee the logistics of the administrative process, manage the facilitation, assessment and moderation of programmes, oversee learner interactions and manage at risk students. The project manager is a key stakeholder in the link between the corporate education team and the academic team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Relevant and appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
2 -5 years project / programme management experience preferably in an academic or services environment
Extensive knowledge pertaining the education environment in South Africa
Extensive knowledge pertaining the management of qualifications
Extensive experience implementation and administration of student management systems and processes
Excellent computer literacy
The ability to manage high-level executive clients
The ability to manage project scope and budget.
The ability to communicate with different internal departments to ensure all aspects of projects are planned and sufficiently implemented
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
