SUMMARY:
An established organisation is seeking a motivated Project Accountant to support its finance team. This role focuses on projectârelated financial administration, ensuring accurate reporting, proper cost control, and compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate is detailâoriented, analytical, and able to collaborate effectively with project managers and senior finance stakeholders.

POSITION INFO:

You will monitor project budgets, track costs and maintain accurate financial records across assigned projects. You will process and verify projectârelated invoices, prepare cost reports, and support financial forecasting and costâbenefit analysis. The role includes performing project reconciliations, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements, and assisting in project audits. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers to ensure realâtime visibility of financial performance. Additional support may be required for adâhoc reporting and projectârelated financial enquiries

Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel
Excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines independently and within a team
Minimum 3 years' experience in project accounting or financial analysis
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting and financial regulations
Experience with project management or ERP systems is beneficial
Industryâspecific exposure (e.g., engineering, construction, real estate) is advantageous

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
