Project Deployment Manager - Zambia

A leading, Renewable Energy distributor in Africa is looking for a Project Deployment Manager to help manage their projects and products in their Zambia branch. 

The Project Manager will be responsible for installation & commissioning of the power grid products with customers in Zambia whilst managing a team of Deployment Specialists and delivering the project in time and on budget. 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 5 years’ work experience in a project management role with comparable responsibilities and relevant professional qualification
• Prior experience developing, growing and managing teams of up to 50 people.
• Experience in formulating project budgets
• Financial assessment of project implementation prior to commissioning
• Budget management of various projects simultaneously.
• Extremely well organized with a high attention to detail
• Knowledge of electrical systems, especially relating to renewable energy
• A passion for delivering energy services and desire to learn the various aspects of the microgrid business
• Fluent in English, Bemba and Nyanja both in written and oral communications.
• Zambian citizen or possessing valid Zambian work permit; experience working in Zambia is a must.
• Enthusiasm towards working in the field of renewable energy.
• Highly computer literate.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Candidates should possess a valid Driver''s License
