JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the water management systems industry has a position available for a project engineer.

Perform site inspections as required
Assist Business Development with tender pricing and equipment selection
Draft P&ID generation
Selection of water and wastewater treatment equipment based on process design
Generation of equipment lists
Procurement assistance of water and wastewater treatment equipment
Liaise with electrical team for instrumentation selection and plant automation
Liaise with design team for generation of complete drawings
Oversee manufacturing of water and wastewater treatment plants according to drawings
Testing, installation and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants
Perform Quality Control inspections as appropriate
Project documentation generation
Holistic project management of water and wastewater treatment projects
Travel nationally and internationally depending on water and wastewater treatment project sites
Provide support to Operations team as required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering preferred
3-5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer/Project Manager
Experience in water and wastewater industry preferred
Experience in Contracts Management preferred (GCC, FIDIC, etc.)
South African EE candidate (black or coloured female, black or coloured male, white female)
Driver’s license and passport
