About the Role

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management & Asset Performance Manage the day-to-day operations of approximately 12-15 retail and commercial properties Drive portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and tenant satisfaction Ensure company-owned assets are maintained to the highest operational standards Conduct regular property inspections and implement operational improvements Protect and enhance the long-term value of the property portfolio Tenant & Leasing Management Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and key stakeholders Work closely with the Leasing Team to maximise occupancy and improve tenant retention Support lease negotiations, tenant installations, renewals, and handovers Resolve tenant operational matters efficiently and professionally Assist in implementing leasing strategies to improve portfolio performance Property Operations & Maintenance Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance across the portfolio Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers Monitor contractor performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) Coordinate repairs, maintenance projects, and capital improvements Ensure buildings remain operational, compliant, and professionally maintained Financial & Commercial Management Prepare and manage annual operational budgets Monitor operating expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities Review financial performance and operational reports Support procurement processes, tenders, and supplier negotiations Ensure effective cost control while maintaining service standards Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation, statutory requirements, and building regulations Maintain compliance certifications across the portfolio Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative maintenance programmes Manage insurance claims and operational risk incidents Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead and support on-site property teams and service providers Work collaboratively with Asset Management, Leasing, Finance, and Executive Management Mentor and develop property staff where required Deliver operational reporting and recommendations to senior management Minimum Requirements Minimum 5-8 years' experience in commercial and retail property management Proven experience managing company-owned commercial and retail property portfolios Retail property management experience is essential Experience managing large property portfolios of multiple buildings Strong understanding of property operations, maintenance, leasing, and tenant management Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and operational budgets Knowledge of OH&S legislation and statutory compliance Valid driver's licence Key Skills Portfolio Management Commercial & Retail Property Management Asset Performance Management Tenant Relationship Management Leasing Support & Occupancy Optimisation Budgeting & Financial Management Contractor & Facilities Management Compliance & Risk Management Leadership & Team Management Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Why Apply?
