POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the Role As the Provincial Executive, you will assume overall responsibility for increasing market share and driving profitability across Gauteng . You will set and execute the provincial distribution strategy, foster strategic partnerships, and ensure the seamless integration of all channels and operational functions across the region . Key Responsibilities Strategy & Business Planning: Co-create and execute an aligned provincial distribution strategy to drive aggressive growth . Formulate sales targets, expense budgets, and market penetration tactics . Financial & Budget Management: Accountable for operational execution of the budget, cost-saving initiatives, and monitoring product mix profitability . Sales Management: Translate provincial strategy into clear targets across areas, optimize multi-channel integration, and guide Area Managers to address performance and penetrate new markets . Operational Excellence & Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation, manage query resolutions, enhance business systems, and navigate teams through organizational change . Compliance & Risk Management: Partner with Compliance and Forensics to ensure compliant business conduct and proactively mitigate fraud and business risks . People Leadership: Lead transformation strategies (EE\/DTI targets), drive talent management, succession planning, and build a high-performance culture . Stakeholder Management: Act as the strategic face of the province, building relationships with key public\/private stakeholders, industry bodies, and high-impact intermediaries . Requirements & Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12 . Key Individual (KI) status . Meet Class of Business (COB) requirements at the date of appointment . Advantageous: A Business, Legal, or Commercial Degree \/ MBA, or a CFP designation . Experience & Knowledge: At least 8 years of industry-related experience . Sound Financial Services experience at a senior level within a corporate environment . Minimum of 5 years of Sales and Distribution exposure . Minimum of 5 years of sound management and leadership experience . Deep knowledge of sales tactics, commercial metrics, regulatory frameworks, and utilizing data\/analytics to measure performance . Key Competencies: Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and results orientation . Exceptional leadership abilities with the capability to challenge, influence, and inspire at an executive level . Sound political acumen and natural relationship-building skills . Conditions of Employment Clear criminal and credit checks . Own transportation and a valid driver''s license . Ability to travel frequently . Must possess a smartphone .
