SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Bank Reconciliation Specialist to manage and reconcile high-volume passenger revenue streams across multiple sales channels.
In this critical role, you will oversee financial data flows from 11 booking branches, an internal e-commerce platform, and third-party booking agents, ensuring alignment between operational systems, bank accounts, and the Sage ERP. Your work will directly contribute to eliminating revenue leakage and strengthening financial control in a fast-paced transport environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Reconciliation & Revenue Control Reconcile daily ticket sales (cash, debit, and credit cards) from 11 Ratality POS branches against bank deposits Match online bookings with payment gateway settlement reports Validate third-party agent and aggregator payouts against passenger manifests, commissions, and net receipts Variance Investigation & Resolution Investigate cash discrepancies, including overages\/shortages and transit delays Manage ticket-related exceptions such as refunds, cancellations, no-shows, and chargebacks Identify timing differences between third-party sales and actual bank collections Systems & Data Integrity Import and reconcile high-volume POS data into Sage ERP Process bulk journals for ticket sales, merchant fees, and commissions Maintain accurate and auditable records of all reconciliations and adjustments Ensure clearing accounts are reconciled daily to avoid month-end backlogs Month-End & Reporting Complete bank and merchant reconciliations within tight deadlines (±3 business days) Produce detailed variance reports by branch and revenue channel Prepare structured schedules and supporting documentation for auditors Minimum Requirements Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping 2-4 years of reconciliation experience in a high-volume environment (transport, retail, logistics, or hospitality preferred) Technical Skills Experience with Sage ERP (Evolution, Sage 300, or Business Cloud) Familiarity with Ratality POS or similar ticketing systems Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP) Strong data processing speed with high accuracy Key Competencies System Thinking: Understand end-to-end financial data flows Analytical Investigation: Ability to trace and resolve discrepancies across systems Communication: Confident in engaging with branch managers and external partners Efficiency: Thrive in high-volume, deadline-driven environments Why Join Us?
