Department: Operations \/ Manufacturing Reports To: General Manager \/ CEO Location: Head Office (Gauteng – Olifantsfontein & Clayville) Employment Type: Full-time Permanent Closing Date for Applications: 31 January 2026   Purpose of the Role To take full ownership and P&L responsibility for the manufacturing business unit, driving operational excellence, profitability, zero-harm safety, quality standards and strong team performance in a fast-moving production environment.   Key Responsibilities - Full operational leadership of the business unit (mechanical, electrical, technical, IR, SHEQ and training) - Develop and execute strategic business & production plans - Set performance goals, monitor progress and implement corrective actions - Manage the full financial portfolio – budgets, cost control, profitability and capex - Ensure rapid and effective response to operational contingencies - Drive performance management at team and individual level - Implement and maintain a “zero harm” safety culture with full legislative compliance - Oversee quality management systems and processes - Ensure sound corporate governance and financial controls - Manage HR and labour relations (disciplinary, unions, EE, skills development) - Deliver excellent HSE results and continuous improvement   Minimum Qualifications \/ Experience \/ Skills \/ Personal Characteristics \/ Other Requirements - Matric \/ Grade 12 (NQF 4) - Relevant tertiary technical qualification (engineering, operations or production management) - Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a production\/manufacturing environment at management level - Proven track record managing a full P&L in manufacturing - Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills - Solid understanding of SHEQ legislation and implementation - Computer literate – advanced Microsoft Office (JDE experience a strong advantage) - Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels - Valid driver’s licence and own transport - Emotional self-control, trustworthiness, adaptability, initiative, service orientation, conflict management and punctuality   Remuneration Market-related salary + performance bonus + company benefits (full details will be discussed during the interview).
