Regional Head of Logistics

SUMMARY:
A leading global FMCG organisation is seeking an experienced Regional Logistics Manager to take ownership of logistics and distribution operations across multiple sites. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader who can balance strategic oversight with operational execution, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and seamless delivery in a high-volume environment.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management (essential)
• Postgraduate qualification or MBA (advantageous)
• 8–10 years’ logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or regional leadership role
• Proven track record within FMCG, beverage, or manufacturing industries

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage regional warehousing, transportation, and inventory operations
• Implement logistics strategies aligned with national supply chain objectives
• Drive efficiency, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead, coach, and develop logistics teams across multiple sites
• Manage 3PL providers and key distribution partners, ensuring high service standards
• Monitor performance against KPIs and present regular data-driven reports to senior management
• Partner with sales, procurement, and production to ensure integrated supply chain flow
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
• Leverage technology and automation to optimise operations
