SUMMARY:
A well-established manufacturer of plant and animal nutrition is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager with good technical knowledge in farming practices and crop production within the KwaZulu Natal Province.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or relevant sales experience within the industry
Good knowledge about the area in terms of farming practice and crop production
Ability to identify new opportunities and exploit them to the benefit of the company
Strong communication and sales skills are required
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Incorporating company procedures and policies in the operations of the business unit.
Providing recommendations to appoint appropriate agents in the respective region.
Achieving regional targets as set by management.
Monitoring and reviewing project activities and ensuring its completion within the scheduled time and budget.
Managing business activities focusing on financial and strategic growth of the organization.
Developing new marketing strategies.
Building strong relationships with the customers in order to maintain good revenue growth.
Creating a harmonious working environment, training and mentoring agents and motivating all team members to perform efficiently.
Exploring and analysing market trends and identifying new opportunities in the assigned region.
Coordinating with Marketing to develop and implement operational plans for new product launches.
Working on requirements provided by senior management whenever required.
Preparing and submitting reports promptly as required by the company.
Submitting client reports.
Compiling annual and quarterly forecast for the assigned region.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
