DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

Regional Sales Management

• Manage and work with all Key Accounts and a theatre and surgeon level and be present for the theatre cases.
• Support the Managing Director in the development of an annual Business/Marketing plans for the Arthroplasty business.
• Develop and implement an annual Sales plan for each, Representative & Independent Agent.
• Conclude sales calls both independently and with the Sales Force to promote, sell and service the company’s products and services to existing and competitive customers.
• Develop and implement a Co-travel program with the Sales Team.

Maintain a close working relationship with all Key Accounts for the Arthroplasty business.

• Develop, implement and monitor annual Sales Forecast for all Representatives & Independent Agents, with monthly feedback on Sales versus Forecast.
• Ensure Sales Force commissions are paid, either quarterly or annually, in conformance with performance against Forecast.
• Develop, implement and monitor for each, Representative & Independent Agents a Territory Management System, including a daily, weekly and monthly route plan, a Sales Call Report system and Call Rate objectives.
• Implement, through the Sales Force, an Account profile/data base for every Hospital/Arthroplasty Surgeon.
• Implement regular Sales meetings, to communicate strategies/provide training and to understand and resolve current issues facing the Sales Force.
• In co-operation with the Managing Director/Marketing Manager, determine strategies for both existing products and new opportunity products through the provision of regular field intelligence reports on competitive activities, changes in markets, distribution and pricing, as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
• Ensure 24-hour National coverage at all times (including Public holidays, weekends and evenings.)
• On an ongoing basis, identify appropriate new high-potential candidates for the Arthroplasty Sales Force, and recruit and train new Representatives Independent Agents people as needed.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve short and long term business targets and objectives in conjunction with the Marketing manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 – 5 years management experience
• 3-4 years’ experience in the Orthopaedic Arthroplasty or Trauma market
• Degree or diploma, an Allied Professional background would be of value.
• Good Technical Skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Willing to travel.
