JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a fully qualified CA(SA) with managerial experience? Do you have strong reporting skills? Are you looking for your next role as a Reporting Financial Manager within a Telecommunications company based in Midrand? My client is looking for a candidate just like you.
My client is an industry leader in South Africa built on more than two decades of knowledge and experience within the telecommunications industry. The business serves over 18 million people across the world including Canada and the United Kingdom. They pride themselves on their affordable solutions catered for all types of individuals from business to personal.
The role reports to the Financial Executive and the deliverables the role budgeting, forecasting, external financial reporting, and reconsolidations of company entities. Review and manage the preparation of the income statement and the preparation of the balance sheet. Prepare annual and quarterly financial budgets and monthly tracking of variances to budget Lead the setting and managing of medium to long-term financial budgets considering strategic business priorities, constraints, and emerging economic trends

Ensure compliance to all financial legislative and regulatory requirements by implementing best practice and adherence to professional of internal policies and procedures
Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and monthly management
Manage monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts
Reviews annual financial statements for the various entities
Review, evaluate, adjust operational and financial reports to ensure accurate and relevant data is presented as required by the relevant Stakeholders
