SEO Account Manager (Digital Agency) (JB2236)
Fully Remote for applicants currently living in South Africa
Negotiable

Overview
Reporting into the SEO Account Director (UK based), you will be responsible for managing the strategies and performance for a portfolio of clients based internationally.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed business or marketing related degree
7 or more years’ experience as an Account Manager within an agency environment
3 or more years’ management experience
Suitable home office set up

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create account strategies in collaboration with the Account Director
Create and manage a realistic and suitable project plan for each client and relevant campaigns
Create forecasts
Provide campaign insights, strategic outlooks and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders in order to continually optimise activity
Keep up to date with the latest changes in the SEO landscape and ensure these are communicated clearly to the team.

Effectively manage, train and motivate a team of SEO specialists
Manage task allocation, activity and performance of the team
Delegate tasks to SEO specialists
Brief and continuously update the team on each campaign

Develop and maintain close relationships with clients
Set KPIs for campaigns and ensure that performance is monitored and that they meet client requirements and contractual requirements
Manage agreed budgets and SOW
Lead client meetings including client calls, monthly meetings and quarterly performance reviews
Create and provide campaign performance reports and communicate findings with the client
Act as SME on each client campaign
Keep abreast of trends specific to SEO and communicate these to the team
