JOB SUMMARY:
Our client based in Cape Town and one of the bigger retails is looking for an experience Social Media Co-ordinator to join their Marketing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. JOB PURPOSE

To implement content strategies on social media platforms and to increase brand awareness in order to achieve marketing objectives for all the companies brands.

2. JOB OBJECTIVES

To execute a results-driven social media strategy and supplier paid campaigns.
To develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
To create and edit written, video and photo content.
To produce live social media content.
To maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
To collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
To monitor social media channels.
To review analytics and create reports on key metrics.

3. KEY CHALLENGES

Targeting right platforms and audience for maximum engagement.
Keeping abreast with changing developments in social media.
Implementing adjusted strategies for different social media platform.

4. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with at least 2 years’ experience in social media marketing
Minimum of 2 years’ experience using social media management tools

5+ years’ experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with 3+ years in social media marketing
