Sales & Business Development Consultant – Energy/Solar Industry

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales & Business Development Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business, managing existing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth of the business within the energy/solar sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy or solar sales, excellent relationship-building abilities, and a proven track record in business development and achieving sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy and solar market.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into new clients.
• Manage and grow an existing client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct client consultations to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and prospective business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Meet and work towards agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the energy/solar industry.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Provide professional after-sales service and maintain long-term client relationships.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements 3-5 years' relevant sales experience within the energy, solar, renewable energy, or related industry . Proven experience in sales and business development . Demonstrated experience in both new business acquisition and existing account management . A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. A stable employment history demonstrating commitment, reliability, and longevity in previous positions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities. Target-driven with a strong commercial and results-oriented approach. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Must be available for full-time employment .
