Industrial Sales Engineers — Can You Sell Solutions into Plant & Mining Environments?

POSITION INFO:
A leading supplier of industrial maintenance and repair solutions is looking for a driven External Sales Engineer to grow its footprint across key industrial sectors.

This role is ideal for someone who understands plant environments, maintenance challenges, and solution-based selling, and can build strong relationships on site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Proven experience in external sales within mining or industrial sectors
Strong ability in new business development and account management
Experience engaging with maintenance, engineering, or operations teams
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Track record of achieving sales targets

Job Experience & Skills Required

Develop new business and grow existing accounts
Identify opportunities within plant maintenance and repair environments
Conduct site visits and build relationships with key stakeholders
Present tailored technical solutions
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Maintain pipeline visibility and meet sales targets
