SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established and respected player in the express logistics and courier industry, is seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow their Durban-based sales operation.

POSITION INFO:
This is a strategic leadership role suited to a commercially driven professional with a proven ability to drive new business revenue, manage high-performing sales teams and develop key customer relationships at a national level.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach and manage a Sales and Key Accounts team (±5 direct reports).
Drive new business development and expansion into new markets and industry verticals.
Monitor sales activity, pipelines, forecasts and revenue performance against targets.
Ensure consistent client engagement through structured call cycles and appointments.
Support the team with business value solutions, pricing and proposals.
Produce and present accurate sales, KPI and Power BI performance reports.
Collaborate closely with Operations and senior management to ensure successful onboarding of new business.
Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within Top 50 customers.
Provide regular reporting and insights to the National Commercial Manager.

Requirements:

Matric or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 7 years senior sales experience, preferably within logistics / courier / express.
Proven experience managing and leading a sales team.
Strong understanding of courier systems, products and procedures.
Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.
Knowledge of Parcel Perfect billing system (advantageous).
